If you been following me on Instagram, or here on the blog, then you know I’ve had a lot going on lately. With so much happening I feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day and it’s definitely cut into my self-care routine. Since writing is a pure form of enjoyment for me and the easiest way for me to express myself, hence the blog, I decided journaling would be a really good option for me release some stress, document my thoughts, and practice self-care.
On August 1st I am going to be starting my 30 Day Journaling Challenge. Each day will have a journal prompt that will focus on joy, self-reflection, and self-care. This challenge is meant to use writing to bring us back to ourselves. When life gets hectic and stressful and we start neglecting our self-care, it’s easy to lose pieces of who we are. Life has a way of pushing our simple joys and passions to the back burner. This challenge is to help shine light on those joys, unleash those passions, and bring us back to our authentic selves.
